1. What WorldTrails is

WorldTrails is a digital platform that helps people discover and understand official hiking trails in Portugal. Trail information may include maps, distance, difficulty, reviews, and condition reports.

2. Using the platform

The information on WorldTrails is provided to support planning and discovery. It does not replace local signage, official notices, weather checks, or your own judgment before starting a trail.

3. Your responsibility outdoors

• Check local conditions, closures, weather, and access before heading out.
• Assess whether the route matches your experience, fitness, and equipment.
• Follow local rules, safety guidance, and any official restrictions in place.

4. User content

• You should only upload content you created yourself or have permission to share.
• By submitting reviews, photos, or reports, you allow WorldTrails to display and use that content within the platform.
• We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, or clearly unrelated to the platform.

5. Intellectual property

The original design, branding, code, and editorial content of WorldTrails belong to Travelook or are used with permission. Trail data may also depend on external entities and should not be copied or redistributed without authorization.

6. Service availability and changes

We may improve, adjust, pause, or remove parts of the service when needed. We try to keep the platform available and useful, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

7. Limitation of liability

• WorldTrails is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or losses that occur during outdoor activities.
• We cannot guarantee that every trail page is always complete, current, or free of error.
• You remain responsible for decisions taken on the ground, even when the platform helped with planning.
