The hiking trail 'Trilhos do Nabão' is located on the right bank of the Nabão River. It covers 10.8 km and offers an 'untouched' walk, surrounded by landscapes of unique beauty, a journey through biology, geology, rural heritage and the traditions of a village, Linhaceira, in the municipality of Tomar (Santarém). It is characterized as a circular route with start and finish at the Associação Cultural e Recreativa de Linhaceira (ACRL), with steep elevation changes, the trail has a medium difficulty level and can be completed, on average, in 3 hours.
The main points of interest are the Nabão River Valley, the streams that flow into it and their waterfalls, the springs, the diversity of flora, fauna and geology, the Ponte da Matrena from 1706, the various mills (Moinho da Matrena, Moinho do Varunca, Moinho dos Reis, Moinhos do Morgado and Moinho Velho) that transport us to the experiences of our ancestors.
