A trail of sensations! Trilho dos Gaios – A Historic Trail is a tourist-cultural project that encompasses and develops between the town of Tábua and Vila Nova de Oliveirinha, at the eastern boundary of the municipality, with an extension of approximately 17 km. It starts at the Chapel of Sr. dos Milagres in Tábua, continuing through the town center until reaching the village of Seixos Alvos. Here, along forest paths, you can appreciate the surrounding rural landscape in an exultation of colors and scents that leads to Vale de Gaios, where you'll quickly find the boardwalks that allow you to enjoy the unique surrounding landscape that the Rio de Cavalos provides: the ancient mills, its waterfalls, and a mystery that reveals itself enchantingly: the river with its sinuous and peculiar riverbed, disappearing between the rocks and continuing to be heard stridently beneath them, in great galleries. Continue your journey discovering millennial bridges while spotting local fauna and flora, typical of riparian galleries. It's along rural paths that you'll arrive at Vila Nova de Oliveirinha, a place you'll want to discover in all its nooks and charms!
