Considered one of the most beautiful and enchanting levadas on the southwest coast. It offers a magnificent hike of about three to four hours through the green Laurissilva forest, whose Latin designation: laurus (lauraceae: linden, bay, vinhático and barbusano) and silva (forest, woods).
During its route we find a beautiful hydrogeological setting that deserves long moments of contemplation and some photographs to remember later. We will encounter small waterfalls framed by volcanic tuffs sculpted by water, beneath which the levada runs, passing the streams of Ponta do Sol, Tabua and Ribeira Brava, where we can enjoy the surrounding landscape dominated by the mountains. Along the Ribeira da Tabua, we can take the opportunity to walk a little, either upstream or downstream.
