About the trail

The trail begins on regional road ER 105 and descends to the Rabaçal shelter house. The route initially runs parallel to the Levada das 25 Fontes, then the trails separate, following two parallel levadas located at different elevations.
The PR 6.1 route follows the Levada do Risco at 1000m altitude, leading hikers to the Risco viewpoint, where you can admire an impressive waterfall that projects vertically, forming a white streak against the dark rock.
